Property worth a total of R60?million was sold in the first 42 seconds.
Technology usage in South Africa’s property sector was recently taken to a new level with the country’s first residential online sales launch.
Property worth a total of R60 million was sold in the first 42 seconds.
The online sale process took place in November when Summer Park Umhlanga in KwaZulu-Natal was officially launched.
“Having conducted many sale launches, we decided to up the ante from our traditional queuing processes to manage the first residential online sales launch in South Africa,” says Stefan Botha, director of Rainmaker Marketing.
“We’ve never experienced the rush we had on launch day. For the first time those interested in purchasing within Summer Park Umhlanga were able to do so from their homes by simply clicking a button.”
With more than 1 500 registrations for Summer Park Umhlanga received in the first week, Botha says the online sales launch allowed the sales process to be seamless, effortless, convenient and quick.
“This approach performed phenomenally,” he says.
Summer Park Umhlanga is the newest residential offering within Umhlanga Ridge Town Centre, offering studio, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments priced from R950 000.
