Five bedrooms and more in a trendy area

The rejuvenation of Woodstock has made properties in this trendy neighbourhood, which is conveniently located only three kilometres from Cape Town’s central business district, a valuable commodity.

Sanjeev Boyjoonauth of ClareMart says a large five-bedroom Woodstock property is likely to appeal to investors.

Measuring about 210m², and comprising three dwellings, each with its own separate entrance, the building could be used as a redeveloped, single, spacious family home, or could be purchased as a lucrative investment with a potential annual rental income of R318 000, he says.

“The first dwelling, with a potential monthly income of R12500, has two bedrooms with access to a private courtyard, and one large loft bedroom with a private deck that offers gorgeous mountain views.

“A detached one-bedroomed unit with en-suite bathroom, with access to the courtyard and a separate entrance, completes this unit.”

The second one-bedroomed dwelling has an open-plan kitchen flowing into the lounge with a fireplace and leading onto a private deck. Its potential monthly rental income is R9500.

A third unit consists of a single bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom, with access to the courtyard, and offers a monthly rental income of R4500.

ClareMart will auction the property on site at 6 Victoria Walk at noon on July 19.

The viewing dates are July 8 and July 15 between 2pm and 5pm on both days.
