Civils and construction auction promises wide variety of plant equipment
WH Auctioneers Cape will hold a massive civils and construction auction on behalf of a major civils company, fleet companies and financial institutions at its Epping auction yard.
The auction company’s Martin Dibowitz believes this will be the largest construction and civils sale held in the Western Cape this year, and the variety and quality of the assets are extensive.
On the civils side, the sale will include 12 late-model Hitachi and Komatsu excavators, ranging in size from 47 tons to five tons; two Komatsu D65-ex-16 bulldozers; 10 Caterpillar, Bomag and Dynapac rollers; six digger loaders; five water tankers; three Caterpillar ADTs; three front-end wheel loaders; and a milling machine.
Among the offerings on the transport side will be heavy duty vehicles, including low-beds, long-distance trucks, tipper trucks, rigid and tautliner trucks, crane trucks, refrigerated trucks, and a 4×4 fire truck.
Late-model executive and passenger cars, as well as bakkies and mini-buses, will also be sold.
Rounding off the auction will be small plant ancillary to the construction industry, including generators, rammers, lighting towers, site toilets, compressors, power floats, welders and plate compactors.
The auction will be held at 10.30am on May 30 at WH Cape’s premises at 17 Dacres Avenue, Epping 2, with viewing the day before from 9am to 4.30pm.
“Bidders will be able to use our webcast bidding facility and there will be bank finance available on site for all pre-approved bidders,” says Dibowitz..
