The Anson allows residents to “be in the centre of it all” but still have the charming village feel of Observatory
Rental apartments in a development in the heart of Observatory are ready for occupation, and offer 39 units – a quarter of which has already been let. Located opposite the Spar, and close to a host of cafes, bars, artisan stores and the cultural life of Observatory Lower Main Road, The Anson allows residents to “be in the centre of it all” but still have the charming village feel of Observatory, says Natheema Tymowicz, a rental agent from Seeff Southern Suburbs.
The apartments range in size from 40m² to 98m² and offer a choice of one, two and three-bedrooms.
“The interiors are modern with open-plan living for easy entertainment, top class finishes and fittings and main bathrooms en-suite. The apartments have spectacular views and some have a private terrace or balcony. The complex offers 24-hour security with remote access and lifts,” Tymowicz says.
Rental rates for the unfurnished units start at R6 995 a month for a small one-bed, R8 500 for a standard one-bed, R10 000 for two beds, and range to R18 000 for a top end unit. Parking bays are available at R175 per month.
Obz, as it is affectionately known by its residents, offers an excellent location with the airport, N2 and M3 easily accessible. Tymowicz says the demand for rental accommodation in Observatory is high.
