More than 100000 pairs of new shoes will go on sale in Bidway Auction House’s next warehouse auction, to be held at its Woodstock, Cape Town, premises on April 21.

“The shoes are all from a well-known wholesaler which provides shoes for South Africa’s big fashion retailers, including Markhams, Foschini and others,” says auctioneer Stef Olivier, who heads Bidway Auction House.

The thousands of pairs of shoes will be displayed as samples on the auction floor, so prospective buyers can view the more than 300 different styles and colours available, the auctioneer says.

“The auction items will range from children’s shoes, flip-flops, sandals, fashion shoes and ladies’ boots to men’s leather shoes, sneakers and sports shoes.”

The auction will take place at Bidway’s premises at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock, at 11am on April 21.

Viewing will be from 9am to 4pm on April 20.
