Bruce Lee became a cult status movie star in Asia and, posthumously, in the US.
A pair of shoes owned by martial arts film legend Bruce Lee were recently auctioned for almost $9000 (about R123000) at a Julien’s sale in Los Angeles in the US.
Lee died in 1973, at the age of 32, from a brain oedema possibly caused by a reaction to a prescription painkiller.
During Lee’s brief career, he became a cult status movie star in Asia and, posthumously, in the US.
