A photo of David Bowie sleeping on a train in Siberia sold for £5000 (more than R83 000) to an online bidder at a recent Bonhams auction.
Another photo of Bowie on the set of the film The Man Who Fell to Earth sold for £4000 at the same auction in London. He was one of Britain’s greatest pop stars.
The English singer-songwriter and actor died of cancer on January 10, 2016.
