A large selection of off-cuts of various wood panels and unfinished woodwork projects will also go under the hammer
Bidway Auction House has received instruction from the executor of a deceased estate to sell the complete contents of a woodworking factory that forms part of the estate in Kensington on Tuesday at 11am.
The assets of SG Shopfitters will be auctioned on site and include a Wadkin panel saw, a Tekna S250 saw, a Paoloni planer, a radial arm saw, drill presses and a large selection of smaller power tools, such as drills, sanders and routers, among others, says auctioneer Stef Olivier.
“Also on auction will be a complete 4mx6m spray booth with extraction and compressor, and all the office furniture will be sold.”
Olivier says the auction will be held on site at SG Shopfitters’ Kensington premises, where a large selection of off-cuts of various wood panels and unfinished woodwork projects will also go under the hammer on the day.
“Vehicles that were used in the business – a Datsun long wheel base bakkie and a Renault Kango panel van with a flat-deck, single-axle trailer – will also go on the auction block,” says Olivier.
The assets may be viewed between 9am and 4pm on Monday at SG Shopfitters, 14th Avenue, Park 14, Kensington.
The auction will start at 11am on Tuesday.
