A massive combined auction to be held at Bidway’s Woodstock auction house on March 7 will see restaurant and catering equipment from various outlets and assets of a furniture rental company going under the hammer.

Sourced from a cookery school, a bakery, a coffee shop and an ice-cream deli, the restaurant and catering equipment to be found on the auction floor will include a Micromatic bread oven, convection ovens, Taylor soft serve ice-cream machines and a Scotsman ice machine, says auctioneer Stef Olivier.

Upright deli display fridges, glass display fridges, under-counter bar fridges, gas boiling tables, a steak griller and a massive cold room/freezer room combination will also be sold on the day, according to Olivier.

The auction will be held at 11am on March 7 at Bidway Auction House’s premises at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock. Viewing is at the same venue between 9am and 4pm on March 6.
