The casino has more than 300 slot machines, blackjack and roulette. 4 Eat Inspired by the Beach Boys
song, Kokomo is one of the newest additions to Langebaan. Elegant yet simple and laid-back, guests can soak up the sunset view, or get cosy in front of the fire. Chef Jacques Buys and his kitchen team serve breakfast from 9am to 11.30am and pizzas from 10am daily. The
vast menu includes steaks and seafood, as well as light meals. 022 772 1600. One of Langebaan’s most famous and longstanding
eateries is Die Strandloper right on the water’s edge. Open air and casual, meals here are long and lazy, and can include dips in the ocean between courses. Expect to spend at least three hours or more eating traditional treats like mussels, fish curry, angelfish and snoek, grilled haarders (small mullets), smoked angel fish, snoek with sweet or steamed potato, and waterblommetjie bredie, most of it cooked over the coals. 022 772 2490.
