Meat processing plant and catering equipment to go under the hammer
Bidway Auction House will sell butchery and catering equipment owned by a meat processing plant on site in Epping Industrial 1 on Tuesday.
“The equipment that will be offered on Tuesday will include two meat bandsaws, meat mincers, an industrial bowl cutter, a biltong drying cabinet and a number of specialised meat processing machines,” says auctioneer Stef Olivier, who heads the auction house.
Olivier says among the big machines that will go on the block are three Munster water coolers, Herman Skill membrane deskinners, vacuum form-and-seal machines, vacuum pack machines, strapping machines and a number of conveyer belts and extractor canopies.
“On the same day, several pieces of catering equipment, including a Macadams oven and proover, chicken rotisseries, upright delicatessen display fridges, under-bar fridges, chip fryers and flat-top grillers will go under the auctioneer’s hammer,” Olivier says.
All the auction assets may be viewed between 9am and 4pm on Monday at the meat processing plant premises situated in Unit 18, Gerry Ferry Crescent, Epping Industrial 1.
The auction will be held at the same Epping Industrial 1 venue at 11am on Tuesday.
