Joanie McLean’s places of interest in Rooihuiskraal North

1 Thunder Ridge Spur
It’s fun, clean, tidy, huge and great for a family outing. There’s a feeling of community there. Rooihuiskraal Rd/Basson Ave, Centurion. 012 653 9003

2 Mugg & Bean
This is a nice place to start your day. I like to meet clients there and many people can be seen working on their laptops while having coffee.  Shop 6/7 Mall@Reds, Cnr Hendrik Verwoerd and Roohuiskraal drives, Centurion. 012 656 8987

I walk to Mall@Reds which has lots of different
shops and services – there’s a gym and many
restaurants which look on to a piazza. Most
access routes connect to arterial routes and
freeways so it’s easy to get around. It takes five
to 10 minutes on a Sunday to get to church at
the Lewende Woord Church in Lyttelton Road. I
live in a complex with my family. Rooihuiskraal
North is a nice and closely-knit neighbourhood
where you find lots of people on walks.
