Included among the many properties Rawson Auctions Western Cape will bring to auction in April is a Jongensfontein home that has seven bedrooms and a flatlet with separate entrance.

The home has the potential to be divided into two separate units, says Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape.

The seaside village of Jongensfontein, next to Stilbaai on the scenic Garden Route, is a popular holiday destination, she says.

Located at 36 Rowweklip Avenue, Jongensfontein, the property has an erf size of 855m2. It includes a large patio, three built-in braai areas and two garages with remote-controlled doors.

“The kitchen is large, and one of the braai areas overlooks the ocean,” says Jovanovski.

“The coastline offers ideal conditions for anglers, and visitors to this Garden Route village often fall in love with the unspoilt and rugged nature of the area.”

The property will be auctioned in Rondebosch at noon on April 25. The reserve price is R3.55million, but all offers will be considered. The rates and taxes are about R1200 a month.

No registration fee is required to bid with Rawson Auctions. However, the buyer will be expected to pay a deposit of 5% of the purchase price, as well as 10% commission plus VAT over and above the purchase price on the seller’s acceptance of the bid. Bidders are required to be registered and must have with them certified copies of their identity documents and proof of residence.
