An opulent, double-storey home located in Thatchfield Glen, Centurion, Pretoria, will be going on auction in Cape Town on July 26.
The three-bedroomed home is modern and spacious, with an attractively designed interior and high ceilings, says Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape.
The three bedrooms, all with laminated flooring, are located upstairs, as are two bathrooms, each with a bath and shower. One of the bathrooms is en-suite, says Jovanovski.
The bedrooms are luxurious and comfortable. The main bedroom, which leads out to a balcony, is large and has extra built-in cupboards. The auction will be by silent tender, with written offers to be submitted in sealed envelopes. Tenders will close at noon on July 26. The reserve price is R1.7 million, but all offers will be reviewed. The seller is not registered for VAT and transfer duty will therefore be payable. The levies and rates and taxes are R1 192 and about R1 183 per month respectively.
No registration fee is required to bid with Rawson Auctions. However, the buyer will be required to pay a deposit of 5% of the purchase price, as well as 10% commission plus VAT over and above the purchase price, to Rawson Auctions on the seller’s acceptance of the bid. Bidders are required to be registered and must have with them certified copies of their identity documents and proof of residence.
