In tough economic times the residential property development market is the most resilient, believes Colin Anderson, chief operations offi cer of the Rabie Property Group.
“Safety, security and convenience remain top priorities.” In addition, Francois Louw, managing director of Louw Coetzee Properties, which has been an integral part of Rabie’s Clara Anna Fontein estate in Durbanville, says “a quality retirement product within a security estate, a prime location and access to top-quality health-care services, will always be in demand, despite a tough economic crisis”.
The estate recently welcomed its fi rst retirement residents to the Oasis Life Clara Anna Fontein which was launched in 2018.
Rabie director Miguel Rodrigues says it has been a long journey since the retirement product was conceptualised.
“We wanted to create an exclusive hospitalitybased retirement lifestyle, with age-tailored homes of exceptional quality.” The group broke ground on its second retirement development – Oasis Life Burgundy Estate – in June.
