New estate offers industrial, business and residential opportunities
A vacant and undeveloped 2.5hectare tract of land in the Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate will be among the highlights of In2Assets’ next multi-property auction on July 25 at 11am at Durban Country Club.
Cornubia is inland of Umhlanga, close to Mount Edgecombe, Phoenix, Ottawa and Waterloo.
The development land, zoned “light industrial”, is on the corner of Tottum Road and GJ Champion Drive in the Cornubia estate, which has been planned as an eco-friendly industrial development.

It will be KwaZulu-Natals’s next major industrial hub, with easy access to Dube Trade Port and King Shaka International Airport’s passenger and cargo terminals.
The property to be auctioned on July 25 is a serviced vacant industrial stand of over 25000m².
Carl Kleinhans of In2Assets says the stand is level and well located.
“The surrounding stands are being developed as warehousing, mini factories and office buildings. The zone will have tenants involved in warehousing, assembly, service and light industrial, distribution, logistics, and retail operations. There will also be showrooms and offices in a landscaped environment.”
Kleinhans says Cornubia is now a sought-after residential and business location, with rapid uptake of commercial and industrial sites by developers, end-users and investors who see the development’s potential.
