With prices for a studio apartment from R650000, including transfer costs, the developers aim to address the ever-increasing shortage of affordable residential property developments close to workplaces, schools, transport nodes, shopping centres and other amenities in and around the Cape peninsula.
Cederberg Estate is designed to assist qualifying first-time buyers onto the property ladder, says developer Craig Myburgh of V Spaces. Furthermore, it will offer state-of-the-art security and pet-friendly ground-floor units.
The units range from 29m² studios to two-bedroomed, one-bathroomed apartments in three sizes: 49m², 55m² and 60m². “Each apartment offers a parking bay, with the added option of buying an extra bay or one of 98 garages.
The prices are extremely affordable, ranging from R650 000 for a studio apartment to R1.359 million for the larger units,” says Denis Dunn, owner of Harcourts Dunn Sales and Rentals.
