The Pietermaritzburg firm Peter Maskell Auctioneers will travel almost 800km to the Lowveld for a major sale on October 15 - the disposal of prime Limpopo bushveld properties near the Kruger National Park.
Danielle Hoskins, who is handling the sale for Maskell’s, says the properties on Silonque Farm – about 7km from Phalaborwa – consist of:
* Vacant residential development land in the Mahlathini Game Reserve section of Silonque Farm.
* A Dannevirke Share Block Scheme residence which is on another part of Silonque Farm.
Hoskins says the development property on offer is 21 hectares of land – one of 115 similarly-sized smallholdings in the Mahlathini Game Reserve. A haven of mopane and bushwillow woodlands, Mahlathini is next to Kruger National Park in the east and Letaba Ranch in the north. The game sanctuary is 15 minutes’ drive from Phalaborwa, 25 minutes from Phalaborwa Kruger Park gate, and 30 minutes from the Hans Merensky Golf Course.
“The other property on offer, the two-bedroom bush house – which is part of the Dannevirke Share Block Scheme on another portion of the farm Silonque – is also on a 21ha stand and has its own swimming pool, recreational deck and covered veranda area. This property also has two freestanding cottages with en suite bedrooms and Jacuzzi spa baths,” Hoskins says.
The auction will take place on October 15 at 11.30am on Portion 41 of the Silonque Farm. For directions and further information, contact Hoskins at 033 397 1190 or 082 801 6827 or email email@example.com or visit www.maskell.co.za.
