Property located in Cayman's Beach Estate has private garden, ocean views and beach access

A double-storey townhouse with its own title deed, located in Gordon’s Bay’s Cayman Beach Estate, will go under the hammer next week without a reserve price, offering buyers an opportunity potentially to snap up a bargain.

Dan van Zyl, the auctioneer who will conduct the auction, says the newly-renovated property could be sold furnished or unfurnished, whichever the buyer prefers.

The top floor of the property comprises three bedrooms with main en-suite, a second bathroom and a large balcony with built-in braai overlooking the Hottentots Holland Mountains.

Downstairs there is a modern, open-plan kitchen with granite tops and a new gas stove and a dining/living room.

“There are high-quality finishes, such as laminated floors and built-in cupboards, throughout the home,” he says.

The property is currently vacant and it will be possible for the new owner to take early occupation, he says.

The auction will take place on site at 7 Cayman Beach Road, Cayman Beach Estate, Gordon’s Bay, at 11am on November 13 While there will be no reserve price, the sale will be subject to confirmation by the seller, Van Zyl says.

The property may be viewed from 10am on the day of the auction.

No registration fee will be payable. However, the winning bidder will be required to provide an identity document and proof of residential address on the fall of the hammer.

A deposit of 10% of the bid price plus auctioneer’s commission will be payable either by bank-guaranteed cheque or EFT on the day of the auction.
