Aspire Art Auctions is presenting a timed online auction of fine art.

Aspire Art Auctions is presenting a timed online auction of fine art from August 28 to September 4.

Aspire’s art specialist, Ruarc Peffers, says the company’s online sale will extend the curated approach of its live auctions and appeal to both new and seasoned collectors with artworks at affordable prices.

“The online arena for art sales is becoming more popular every year. The industry-standard, Hiscox Art Report, says online art market sales reached an estimated $3.75billion in 2016, up 15% from 2015. This gives the online art market an 8.4% share of the overall art market,” says Peffers.

Aspire’s timed online auction will be powered by the Invaluable platform, the world’s leading online marketplace for fine art, antiques and collectables.

This month’s timed online sale will feature more than 200 historic, modern and contemporary art works, including works by Walter Battiss. The Battiss range varies from an early watercolour to the abstract colour screenprints which later became his trademark.
