Peter Maskell Auctioneers will, in a default auction on March 31 at 11.30am, again call for bids for the luxury Botanic Gardens Hotel in Prestbury, Pietermaritzburg.
The upmarket hotel at 42 Morcom Road – in business rescue – has 22 en suite rooms; a restaurant with kitchen and scullery; a swimming pool area and secure parking.
The boutique hotel is near the KwaZulu-Natal National Botanical Garden, established in 1874, and renowned for its 200m Plane Tree Avenue.
This avenue was planted in 1908 with 46 towering London plane trees by William Marriott, then curator of the gardens.
