14 gardens will be open in the Elgin and Bot River districts
This year, 14 gardens will be open in the Elgin and Bot River districts of the Western Cape over two weekends.
Dates and times: October 27 and October 28 and November 3 and 4, from 10am to 5pm.
Entry to some gardens is free, others charge between R20 and R30. All gardens are giving a portion of their takings to a charity of their choice.
Refreshments: Some gardens are offering tea and light meals, and there are restaurants and food gardens in the area.
Local charity Siphila Sonke will serve tea and lunches at Keurbos Nursery Garden and Carmel Farm, both on the Highlands Road.
