Maharani Tiles & Bathrooms stays on trend with head office revamp and new store in Gauteng
Maharani Tiles & Bathrooms was started in 1989, giving the company almost 30 years of industry experience in which it has built this unique brand and business model.
The company specialises in tiles and bathrooms for residential and commercial projects and is uniquely positioned with various exclusive ranges to provide something completely different. Maharani tiles are imported from Spain and Italy, and bathroom products from Germany and Austria.
Their involvement with European countries and by visiting the various shows in Europe means the company stays on trend.
The latest trends gathered by the company when they attended the annual Cersaie trade fair, the biggest in Europe, was that the industrial and concrete look is still a major trend, with the metal look also coming to the fore.
Textures, geometric shapes and lines also featured strongly at the fair, with lots of puzzle-looking geometric tiles on display. The more classic marbles and wood-look tiles are also still popular and are looking more and more like the natural product. In terms of tile, the trend is towards much bigger tiles.
Maharani Tiles & Bathrooms offer a great, exclusive range of wall and floor tiles across all these trends.
In saniware, colours are featuring strongly, with taps now trending in white, black, matt black, copper, rose gold and brushed gold. Trendy bathrooms are still modern and sleek.
In line with these contemporary trends, Maharani Tiles & Bathrooms are proud to now be carrying exclusive European brands in saniware such as Creavit, Kludi, Graff, The ArtCeram and Maier.
Each of these brands boast some incredibly artistic creations in saniware such as The Artceram’s “The One” toilet and Creavit’s Rim-Off rimless toilet. Graff and Maier also has a stunning range of matt black and rose gold mixers, while Kludi offers gloss black or white mixers.
The company has recently renovated its head office showroom in Springfield Park, Durban, and has also just celebrated the opening of a new flagship store in the Kramerville Design Precinct in Gauteng.
This flagship innovative store was designed by Leo Designs, which is headed by Elsabe Oosthuysen, and is dark and neutral with a raw feel to it, allowing the products to be showcased in their simplest, purest, most raw form, not using anything else to render them “better”.
A flexible and considerate lighting solution supports the setting. Displays are interactive, and the process of mixing and matching products is integral in the display allowing clients to engage in a storyboard approach.
Sale representatives’ workspaces are also uniquely positioned among the showcase of products to further facilitate this interaction.
KwaZulu-Natal stores: 229 Inanda Road, Springfield Park in Durban, and at 1B Silverstone Way in Ballito.
Gauteng new flagship store: 16 Dartfield Road, corner Commerce Crescent, Kramerville.
