Mac misses his missus

Don’s wife is abroad, the job jar’s vanished and he’s at a loose end.

My inspiration has deserted me. Mrs Mac has gone off to a conference in Ireland, so I am rattling around feeling a little lost.
I have tried really hard, but I have not been able to find “our” job jar, she must have hidden it somewhere. It was mentioned as we were leaving for the airport that it would be nice to return to a neat and tidy garage/workshop and to see that some of my many tools had been used.
I am considering this carefully and have made a start by re-arranging the empty wine bottles. Seeing I am feeling a little sorry for myself, could those of you I’ve advised let me know if my advice has been useful?
Perhaps one out of 10 get back to me. A reader sent me this and I am
going to try to arrange a visit this week:
“I live in Constantia, Cape Town, and have successfully softened my borehole water so as not to dissolve my copper pipes. I’m now off government water completely. I have also installed an altered nozzle on my main basin tap and save 98% of water used. I will drop off a sample tomorrow for you to try if you would let me know where to find you.” We have so many people trying by whatever means to help with the water problem. The crisis has made everyone more aware of the pricelessness of this scare commodity.
